  Had 3 100% beaver felt fedora hats made here. Top quality. Better than any Stetson or Borsolino I ever purchased. Lasting for years, rain has little or no effect! Also they carry great Panama hats at excellent prices. I think the current owner is the grandson of the original. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

  I planned to visit this store to buy a new hat on 12/2/17. When I arrived the store was almost empty, and 'sales' person was anything but. He wasn't particularly busy and barely even acknowledged me. He didn't even seem willing to help me verify my hat size to ensure I got the right one. Over 100 years in business with this type of service? After this experience I'm going back to Lockhart to get my next hat.
